Golf - Tuesday 12th October 2010

We had a perfect day for golf today. Although there were a few very light short lived showers the day was mainly fine and has in fact finished up a sunshine & blue sky day - lovely for golf and the course was in great condition. I heard a lot of compliments from the ladies today in relation to the fairways, greens and gardens. In fact some of the highlights of their day was to be out playing on the course.
I have attached photos of some of the roses flowering in my garden today to cheer you up for the next few days when more rain has been predicted. Hopefully it will not spoil our Pro Am day to be held this Thursday. If you are not playing golf why not come over to the course and watch some of the Professionals in action.
The Event of the day was a Veterans Day in Age Divisions - Single Stableford - Vets and Non Vets and we had 79 starters.
