As previously announced the President Vs Captain event was postponed to a date to be announced and was replaced with a single stableford. I did not play today but I understand that the course was not too bad considering all the rainfall that we have had but is still very wet underfoot especially on the 3rd and 15th fairways. At least we had some nice sunshine which will help to restore the course.
The Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford and we had 48 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Bev Adams scored 42 points which was contributed to scoring 16 one putt holes (that would certainly help!); Helen Stuart putted well for her 35 points; Silvia Lee had a gobbler on the 10th; Lynn Puiatti scored nearest the pin on the 14th and had 3/4 on the 8th; Linda Rankin had 4/4 on the 17th. Another highlight from yesterday's pennants at Morisset was a win by Norma Cubis & Chris Dekker - well done girls!
There is going to be a benefit day for Robb Brann on Monday 28th June 2010 - sheet is in the Pro shop. It will be a shotgun start at 12.00 noon with a sausage sizzle beforehand.
