HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Kay Adams had a birdie on the 17th chipping into the hole from 100 metres; Bruce Binns had birdies at the 12th and the 15th; Yvonne Wilson had a par on the 5th & combined well with Des to score when needed for the team; Col Adams had 2 birdies on the first 4 holes; Anne Stimpson played nice steady golf; Nigel Asken had 5 plus' on the back 9; Jan Van Den Berg, Ellie Van Den Berg, Spencer Walklate & Tania Burt all had 4/4's on the 17th; Rae Brown chipped in on the 10th; Lorraine Bignell had a birdie on the 8th and was a contender for nearest the pin; Duncan Dyer sank a lovely putt on the 17th for 4/4; Lauren Matterson had plus 5 on the front 9.
