Golf at Paradise Palms Golf Course at Cairns was quite an experience. We found it quite a difficult course especially if you have never played it before. There were some very challenging holes although we had some good scores in from the group so it was not all bad news.
Our playing partners today were Dick & Joyce Bosley & we had some good highlights with a few good three pointers & Dick was our star scoring a four pointer.
The weather was not too kind to us as it was very windy & overcast. It did shower slightly but not enough to cause any problems. In fact the cloud cover kept down the anticipated 27 degrees which made it more comfortable for golf.
Our main hassle today was getting from & to the ship as the seas were a little rough & caused delays. We did get 18 holes in today which was good.
Tomorrow we are playing at Pt. Douglas so watch this space for more to come.
