Our final day at the Mornington Peninsula was spent golfing at Sorrento Golf Course. We had a beautiful sunny day & we found the course was great to play. It was very challenging in places but not impossible so we all had a good day. The clubhouse was very impressive.
The event of the day was a team Irish Multiplier plus single stableford.

We had a great week at the Mornington Peninsula playing some of the excellent courses in the district. Our accommodation at Rosebud "Trumans Cottages"was very comfortable & suited our needs perfectly. We had some really good highlights throughout the week including some eagles and birdies from our golfers and some neck to neck challenges in our nightly "500"card challenge which was won by Vicky Morris with Bob Morris coming in runner up. My highlight was coming in runner up in the weekly overall after being sabotaged by Captain Wendy with handicaps being penalised 2 shots on each win, and the player coming in last got a shot back. By the end of the week I had been penalised back to A grade. Peter had a great result having won the weekly overall after being penalised for his wins. We would recommend this area for a golfing holiday and if you can fluke some great weather like we had today that would be a bonus.
This blog is very nice and informative!
