We had perfect weather for golf today - the cloud cover helped keep the humidity down. My playing partners were Georgina Lamb and Dawn Cook & we had a very pleasant day made all the better for bringing home a winner with Georgina winning the 3rd division with Plus 7 and Dawn & I coming in square.
The Event of the day was a Single Par.
We had 77 starters with visitor Lenore Hammersly from WA.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Dawn Cook did a lovely chip shot to the pin on the 3rd; Georgina Lamb scored 8 plus holes; Barbara Stratford had a birdie on the 16th; Elizabeth McNamara had a plus 5 score including a birdie chip into the hole at the 14th; Mary Beard had a gobbler on 8th; Di Thomlinson had birdie gobblers on the 7th and the 15th; Merran Adams had a gobbler par on the 13th; Sharon Anderson had 3 pars; Bev Adams played a steady round with her new clubs scoring plus 3; my highlight, after just skimming across the dam at the 3rd, was sinking a long one putt to save the hole and not having any 3 putts.
