The Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford - Over the Field and we had 30 starters with visitors - Betty Flakelor (Mangrove Mountain) and Lenore Brazenor (Perth).
RESULTS OVER THE FIELD:
WINNER: Lynn Puiatti - 40 points
RUNNER UP: Judy Verlander - 32 points on a countback
3RD: Bev Way - 32 points
4TH: Margaret Nichols -30 points on a countback
NEAREST THE PIN 14TH:

31 - 45 (Second Shot): Margaret Mackie
BALLS WENT TO: 29 points on a countback
AWCR LADIES: 73 (36 points)
We have had some unfortunate luck with the iceberg roses on the putting green. A couple of them were hit with a virus and are struggling back & one lost it's support stake & the stem snapped. I have replaced two of them today as the previous ones had no chance of survival. Hopefully we will have better luck with the two new ones. If you are going to be in need of burning timber this winter then put your order in now while we have a good supply. All monies raised from the sale of timber go towards F-Troop projects like replacing the Iceberg Roses.
