The Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford - Over the Field and we had 21 starters.

I did not play today having arranged to spend a few hours out on the course gardens - assisting Martin Gallagher with future course garden planning, fertilizing, watering, trimming, staking of trees, poisoning of weeds & spraying plants in need with eco oil. All the small jobs that we cannot find enough time to do on Monday F-Troop day.
It was good to see the arrival today of a new tray for the rough cutter. The old one is past its use by date after many years of hard work & many repairs. A replacement tray was purchased and is operational from today. (photo attached).
The agapanthus are flowering beautifully at the 2nd and the 17th - just in time for Christmas.
