Gosford lady golfers participated in a very special celebration day at Kurri Kurri Golf Couse.
The special day was to acknowledge support of the Kurri Kurri Torchbearers for Legacy
50th Anniversary Golf Day. Participants were asked to wear something "gold" in honour of the day. A lot of players showed support of the "gold theme" but our team won the "Best Dressed" prize for the day (photo attached).
It was a well supported day with 140 players and some great prizes.
There was a special acknowledgement to Norma Crosley of Kurri Kurri who has been an inspiration to many players. Norma has participated in each and every one of the 50 Legacy days that have been held - That has got to be a record that will be very hard to beat. Norma assisted in cutting the Anniversary Cake (photo attached).
The legacy ladies and the Kurri Lady members catered for the players with a beautiful luncheon which included home made cakes and pastries. YUM!
Other Gosford players participating were Maggie Minjoy, Annette Dunk, Jan Fitzgerald and Bev Adams - representatives from our own Gosford Ladies Committee.
