The skins match was a very successful day - the weather was perfect & the course was in good condition. The participating professional players were Ricky Schmidt, Andre Stolz, Anthony Painter and Kurt Barnes - well supported by our star junior player Anthony Hanna who played very well in rather awesome company. The supporting members viewing the skins enjoyed a treat. There were not as many supporters as the previous year unfortunately, possibly because a lot of our members were participating in a competition ahead of the skins match. No one left dissapointed as some of the shots today were exceptional and the walk in the park was not bad either as it was such beautiful weather.
The winners on the day were Andre Stolz and Kurt Barnes who both played well under the pressure of the rest of the talent playing with them.
After the match there was a BBQ for the supporting sponsors and their guests. The sponsors were acknowledged by Ricky Schmidt and Mark Churcher at a presentation at the event.
