We had a lovely sunny day for golf today with no wind to speak of so it was a super day to be out on the course. It was still very dewy and soft in the early part of the match but this quickly dried out to a nice finish. We had some fine scores come in from all the good golfers.
The Event of the day was a Stroke Monthly Medal and we had 76 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Wendy Stapleton had a gobbler shot on the 8th to score a birdie; Sheena Asken had a gobbler shot on the 14th for a birdie; Alice Collett had a nice par on the 18th and put away a beautiful one putt at the 17th; Yvonne Wilson sank some nice one putts during the match and my highlight was basically finishing the match - however 3/3 on the 5th was the single highlight if I must name one.
