We were very fortunate today that the forecast showers did not arrive and the day was very pleasant out on the course. My playing partners today were Wendy Stapleton and Yvonne Bean and we had a lovely day on the village green. Yvonne played a nice steady game and Wendy had two beautiful birdie holes so we had some good highlights along the way.
The Event of the day was a Single Stableford with Vets in conjunction.
We had 75 starters with 1 visitor from Hammersley LGC, Hillarys WA.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me : Susan Bourne scored 2/5 for a nice birdie at the 15th; Wendy Stapleton had birdies at the 9th and the 18th; Marianne Lanham had a birdie at the 14th and won nearest the pin; Judy Verlander almost got an Eagle with a lovely shot in at the 18th but had to settle for a birdie; Tania Burt, Helen Stuart & Doreen Trigg all had 6/3 at the 10th (pity it was not a team match); Carol Farrell was a demon putter today & put away about 10 single putts.
