We had twelve volunteers today which was great as it is still the busy season.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Mick Grant, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Bev Way, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were erection of temporary fence between the hedges on the 10th tee; tree maintenance; Pick up of loose timber and rubbish around the course; tidy up of paths on the 15th; tidy up of the Ladies Garden at  the 2nd tee; dead heading of agapanthus at the putting green garden; tidy up of garden at the back of the 10th tee; deadheading agapanthus at the 2nd tee gardens; weeding gardens and tidying up paths at the 2nd tee; clean up of the 18th tee grass garden and planting in of pony tail palms; pick up of loose bark at the 1st and 10th tees.

The temperature reached 32 degrees so an early start is always good at this time of year. 

Rain is predicted in the next couple of days which will be very welcome.

We enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches which was appreciated after a hard mornings work.
