We had 10 volunteers today to help with our F-Troop projects. The course was busy with Vets players so we worked around them.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Bev Way and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, firewood preparation and delivery, hedge maintenance, watering gardens at the front of the clubhouse, maintenance to the 18th tee garden, clearing loose timber and weeding of the 7th tee garden
Morning tea was much appreciated after a hard mornings work.

The Masters Pennant was completed on Sunday with our match against Kooindah Waters at Gosford Golf Club. Our boys played well and were in the contest all day but in the end we went down 5 matches to 3. A win here would have seen us finish second in our division to a very strong Shelly Beach team.
I want to thank all our players as they showed good sportsmanship in all our matches and we all had a great time. Special thanks to Craig Ward who stood up in our last two matches when several of our team went off to Queensland for the annual golf trip. Craig was unlucky to be beaten on the last hole by a six marker in his last match.

We had an early finish day today so our F- Troopers could attend Frewie’s Memorial Day.
Frewie was a much respected Member of our club as is his partner Anne Forrester.
The early morning was chilly but it warmed up to a perfect day and we did manage to get some good projects finished.
